Living With Motor Neurone Disease and Finding a Cure
Although the number of Australians diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) each year is significantly lower than for other terminal illnesses, it still remains a devastating physical and emotional experience, both for the sufferer and the carer.
In this Tobin Brothers exclusive documentary, Lisa Morgan, wife of actor Richard Morgan, and former AFL coach Neale Daniher talked to Michael Lynch about their confronting experiences with Motor Neurone Disease. MND is an insidious disease that more often than not means a terminal diagnosis for its sufferers. Michael talks with medical professionals and people who dedicate their lives to researching MND, who assist patients and their families and raise awareness in the hope that there will be better treatments and one day be a cure.
